Meet the Bug Guy

Hi! I’m David — a.k.a. BackcountryBug. I’ve been exploring the outdoors since I was 6 years old, flipping rocks and chasing butterflies in the Pacific Northwest. BackcountryBugs (plural!) is where I share that love of nature with the next generation. Every course is designed to get kids OFF screens and INTO the creek, the forest, the backyard — wherever bugs and birds and frogs are waiting to be discovered.
